Dark Green Italian Organic Parsley Seeds are easy to grow, plants are sturdy with stiff, upright stems. This variety holds flavour better than the curly kind when dried, so plant extra for that purpose and harvest the drying batch all at once. Parsley is a biennial plant that forms a long (edible) tap root. Choose deep pots for container growing. It makes a very good companion plant if it is allowed to bloom in the second year of growth. As a member of the Apiacea family, its umbelliferous flowers are highly attractive to beneficial insects.
