Although the commute to this West Vancouver home on Eagle Island provided certain logistical challenges, SOLscapes jumped at the opportunity to work on such a unique property. Besides, boating to and from our vehicle for weekly visits is a sweet and salty novelty.

Here SOLscapes offered a full spectrum of expert services including design, installation, education and maintenance. Designs provided for this seaside space range from a vibrant tropical theme for the hot tub gardens, a variety of edible seasonal delicacies thriving in row boats, and a low-maintenance perennial shade garden for north facing beds.

As with all of our projects, these installations were completed using organic, locally sourced plants and soil. Ongoing opportunities for education are demonstrated through edible plant harvest, processing, consumption and preservation.
